This sort of happen in all the cultures, muslim is not the exception, it is actually one of the most damaged cultures around the world.
Media influences masses, and guess what? Children can be manipulated more than you think. And they are the ones suffering the consequences of the phenomena "guilt by association".
Their perception of themselves is at risk and they are being involved in a "collective guilt" that they shouldn't. Feeling guilty about something they didn't do and thoughts and ideas they don't even follow or agree with.
They way people think is related to our culture and values, but I think it is a mistake to generalize or even worse, classify a group of people because of their ethnic, religion or nationality.
The change is in our hands, and it's up to us to make people aware of this situation.
